2017 Investment Banking and the M&A Lower Middle Market Environment
On January 26, 2017 Jeffrey Shippy, Director in the Investment Banking Group at Stout Risius Ross, Inc. (Stout) will be a panelist at Opus Connect to discuss the 2017 Investment Banking and M&A Lower Middle Market Environment.
This panel will include Jeff and other leading Southern California Investment Bankers, who will provide their unique perspective on the condition and outlook of the lower middle market side of M&A investment banking based on what they have experienced in the trenches for 2016 and what they see on the horizon.
The panel will also discuss demand competitiveness for company sale transactions, valuations, capital markets, and other factors based on 2016 transactions.
We will discuss transactions that died and why, those who struggled and overcame obstacles to close, and outright successes. We will also discuss prognostications of 2017 M&A in the lower middle market based on the evolving economic, market, and political climate. Do we see a recession in the near forecast or at least a moderate downturn, or will capital markets remain robust to help fuel continued robust M&A environment? Such questions, and others will be addressed.
