Chicago, IL., June 1, 2010 — Stout Risius Ross (SRR), today announced today that Daniel R. Van Vleet, ASA, a Managing Director in the Valuation and Financial Opinions Group, has been elected to the Executive Committee of the International Board of Governors of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). Mr. Van Vleet will serve as the 2010-11 International Secretary/Treasurer. As International Secretary/Treasurer, Mr. Van Vleet will also serve as the Chair of the ASA Budget and Finance Committee.
Mr. Van Vleet is a leading expert providing professional valuation advisory and economic analysis services in the fields of litigation, taxation, and corporate transactions and has sat on the ASA International Board of Governors for five years as the business valuation profession representative.
