Wachowicz, CFA, a Managing Director in the Valuation & Financial Opinions Group, will lead the discussion “Advanced Market Approach to Valuations” at MACPA’s 2010 Litigation & Business Valuation Conference. He will be joined by Jesse A. Ultz, CFA, a Manager in the same practice.
The discussion will center on the market approach and the challenges associated with applying this method of valuation. Their presentation will focus on choosing appropriate comparable companies, assessing which multiples to apply, adjusting the reported market multiples, and logic and reasoning used in determining concluded multiples.
The conference, which will take place Tuesday, June 15th in Novi, Michigan, will also feature
presentations on “Issues Facing Litigation Support and Business Valuation Practices” and “How AICPA Practice Aids Impact Your Testimony” as well as other relevant breakout sessions.
