Jesse A. Ultz is a Director in the Valuation & Financial Opinions Group. Mr. Ultz has provided business valuation and financial advisory services to public and private businesses for numerous purposes including fairness and solvency opinions, bankruptcy and reorganization, shareholder disputes, mergers and acquisitions, purchase and sale advisement, estate and gift taxation, Employee Stock Ownership Plans, Subchapter C to Subchapter S conversions, equity compensation, valuation discount opinions, restricted stock and blockage discount opinions, financial reporting, and other litigation, tax, and corporate matters.
Mr. Ultz has served a broad range of industries including advertising, aerospace, automobile dealerships, automotive manufacturing, business services, construction, consumer products, energy, food and beverage distribution, food processing, forestry products, furniture, healthcare, industrial manufacturing, information technology, metal stamping, plastics, printing and publishing, real estate, restaurants, retail, staffing, steel, tire and rubber manufacturing, transportation, and wholesale distribution. His experience spans a diverse client base, from regional middle-market businesses to multi-billion-dollar enterprises, private equity funds and hedge funds, law firms, accounting firms, and financial institutions.
Mr. Ultz is a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Detroit, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Turnaround Management Association, the Financial and Estate Planning Council of Metropolitan Detroit, and is the Co-Chair of Education for the CFA Society of Detroit.
