Radd L. Riebe is a Managing Director in the Valuation & Financial Opinions Group. He heads the Cleveland office and the firm’s Trust and Estate Advisory Services group. His concentration is in business valuation and litigation advisory services. His business valuation experience over 30 years encompasses a wide range of industries, over 2,500 engagements, and has been performed for numerous purposes including fairness opinions, estate and gift taxation, ESOPs, marital dissolutions, stock option grants, recapitalizations, blockage opinions, buy-sell agreements, mergers & acquisitions, Subchapter C to Subchapter S conversions, and other tax, corporate, and litigation related matters.
Mr. Riebe has served many industries, including automotive, banking, chemicals, communications, computer software, consumer products, contractors, distributors, financial services, graphics and printing, healthcare, IT and computer consulting, instrumentation, manufacturing, medical services, retailers, telecommunications, third party logistics, transportation, water treatment equipment, and wholesale distributors.
In addition, Mr. Riebe has lectured and presented continuing education seminars on various subjects in business valuation and published articles on estate and gift tax valuation topics. He currently serves as the chair of the Valuations Committee for Trusts & Estates magazine. He has also testified as an expert witness related to valuation issues.
Mr. Riebe is a Senior Member of The American Society of Appraisers, Past President of The Estate Planning Council of Cleveland, and a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, The ESOP Association, Estate Planning Advisory Council of Case Western Reserve University, and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. Mr. Riebe maintains active registration status with The Supreme Court of Ohio through compliance with continuing legal education requirements. Mr. Riebe has been selected as the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland's recipient of the 2014 Distinguised Estate Planner award.
